We all worry about the price of oil which could hit $80 to $100 per barrel soon. Responsible scientists are seeking and have offered alternative methods to produce energy. And the President of the United States has said that the future clean energy for us all is.....coal. Coal, you say, with an astonished look on your face. The Bush government is now projecting that energy derived from coal will increase in the US by 25% in the next 20 years. This is our "alternative" energy plan. And to that effect, Bush is providing $250 million in clean coal subsidies.
