Sending John Bolton to the United Nations to make patty-cake with the world is bad enough, but take a look at who Bush has named to replace Bolton in his old position. The new Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs, Robert G. Joseph, is an advocate of the offensive use of nuclear weapons while he is nominally in charge of "arms control" issues for America's diplomatic efforts. How charming. Why doesn't George Bush simply recruit Osama bin Laden to be the next Secretary of Homeland Security? It makes about as much sense.
