The Rove Beetle


Rove beetles are often abundant in habitats with large numbers of fly larvae -- especially decaying fruit, decaying seaweed, compost, carrion, and dung -- where some are important predators of maggots and others prey on mites or nematodes.

The origin of Turd Blossom?

I believe turd blossom comes from the fact that turds make great fertilizer for flowers... In the pastures you may find a flower blooming dead center of a big hard pile of cow patty! I am just guessing...I am not expert on shit...I'm not an expert on anything...thank goodness! Can you imagine the pressure? :>)
